Wedding 'Research'.....

My beloved sister is getting married in three months!

So in the name of research I have been pouring over Anthropologies new offering BHLDN.

A store solely dedicated to the 'art' of getting wed.

Dresses, shoes, accessories, but most excitingly STATIONARY.

Oh BHLDN, where were you when I needed you 5 years ago??!!

I mentioned to Richard this morning I am quite tempted to get married again.

He said hopefully to him???!!!

In the Nursery + Mama bling

It has been exactly a week, almost to the minute, since our lil man Finn was born.

Richard and I are planning to celebrate with a nice home cooked dinner and cracking open our special Swarovski encrusted bottle of Moet, which we picked up from the House of Moet & Chandon a couple of years ago.

Finn is such a good baby. I can't get over it. He is peaceful and smiley and just such a joy.

He is also a super dooper feeder and has already gained weight. (Unusual as normally babes lose weight in the first week.)

Household obsessions

Oh wow! This week we become 4!

Please, please, please let this week go quickly.

I am ready to have my body back now.

I am climbing the walls with my lack of mobility.

Max has shingles (I know! Don't only 70 year old men get that???!!!!) So we have been stuck inside driving each other all CRAZY for weeks.

I just want to be able to walk/run/skip/bend/lift/breathe normally/sleep again.

Oh, scratch the sleep bit, as I will have a newborn, so no sleep for a while I am thinking.

Can I just say, my husband ROCKS! He has been amazing these last few weeks. Cooking, cleaning, looking after Max, letting me have afternoon naps.

So Richard's obsession right now is making bread and homemade soups - lucky me!

He pulled out a cracker mushroom soup for lunch today. Mmmmmmmmmmm!

Max's obsession is dinosaurs, specifically T-Rex. And the Octonauts.

My obsession is the washing basket. If there is anything in that basket, I am washing it!
